Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service establish the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Younglink (hereinafter, "Company") and users (hereinafter, "Members") regarding the use of 이모티콘 스튜디오 (hereinafter, "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

• Member: An individual who logs in via Google account and uses the Service.
• Signature Pass: Lifetime access granted by a one-time payment (no renewal fees; valid for as long as the Service is provided) — unlimited server generation within the fair-use policy (several images at once) plus convenience features such as the generation vault and the pixel touch-up editor.
• Credits: (Legacy) A previously sold paid usage unit. New sales ended as of September 2026; existing balances remain usable until depleted.

Article 3 (Service Description)

• AI-powered emoticon/sticker image generation, motion (GIF) creation, specification validation for platforms (OGQ, KakaoTalk), and submission package generation.
• Non-members may view service information and pricing, but must log in to use creation tools.
• The Company may modify service content and features for improvement purposes. Major changes will be notified in advance.
• AI image generation time varies with request volume and upstream model conditions, and queues or delays may occur during busy periods. Delays within a reasonable range do not constitute a service defect.
• The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service for substantial managerial, technical, or policy reasons. Changes with material impact on Members — such as full service termination — will be announced in the Service 15 days in advance, and upon termination the Company will take measures required by applicable law. However, where advance notice is impracticable due to unavoidable causes — such as suspension or policy changes by external AI providers, force majeure, or urgent technical failures — prompt notice after the fact may substitute.
• Pass and Service Termination: The Signature Pass does not guarantee a specific term; it is a one-time right to use the Service for as long as the Service is provided. If the Service is discontinued, the pass expires on the termination date. Once its benefits have been used, it is non-refundable under the Cancellation & Refund Policy, and unless applicable law provides otherwise, the Company has no obligation to provide separate compensation or refunds for remaining or unused usage.

Article 4 (Pricing and Payment)

• Cohort-Based Pricing: Product prices increase progressively based on cumulative sales. The displayed price at the time of payment applies. Previously purchased plans are not affected by subsequent price increases.
• Free Tier: Free members may use server generation within a daily allowance (currently 5 cuts), which may be adjusted for operational reasons.
• Fair Use: The pass's "unlimited generation" assumes ordinary creative use. Depending on the resource conditions of the Service and its external AI providers, the Company may apply rate limits, queuing, or temporary generation restrictions to excessive short-term generation, automated or macro-driven bulk calls, and similar patterns. These criteria may be adjusted for operational reasons to protect fair use by all Members and service stability; ordinary use is unaffected.
• Payment is processed through payment service providers designated by the Company (e.g., PayApp).
• (Legacy) Generation cost for existing credit balances follows the terms disclosed at the time of purchase (Standard: 1 credit/image).
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Article 5 (Rights to Generated Content)

• Members own the rights to content generated through the Service. However, policies of the AI model providers used also apply.
• Members must comply with platform review standards (OGQ, KakaoTalk, etc.) and copyright laws when using generated content. The Company does not guarantee approval by any platform.
• Members are solely responsible for any prompts that infringe third-party copyright, trademark, or publicity rights, and for any use of generated content that violates such rights.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

• Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or automated collection (scraping) of Service source code, prompts, or APIs.
• Bulk-calling generation features through macros or automation tools, or sharing or lending an account so that multiple people use a single pass.
• Theft or unauthorized use of another Member's account, payment methods, or API keys.
• Generation of illegal or harmful content or infringement of third-party rights.

Article 7 (Limitation of Liability)

• The Company does not guarantee the quality of AI-generated content, platform approval, or Member revenue.
• The Company's liability is limited for damages caused by circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters or third-party service interruptions.
• If the Company improperly depletes credits through its fault, compensation is limited to credit restoration or refund of the equivalent amount.

Article 8 (Amendment of Terms and Governing Law)

The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by law. Amendments will be announced through the Service at least 7 days in advance (or 30 days for amendments unfavorable to Members). These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the Company's location.
